The Cessna Citation Sovereign (Cessna Model 680 Sovereign) is an American mid-size business jet developed by Cessna. It was first introduced in 1998, and FAA certification was awarded in June 2004. The updated Sovereign+ was introduced in October 2012, and the first flight took place in April of that year. The Citation Sovereign+ features enhanced climb performance, along with Garmin's G5000 avionics. Other updates include added winglets for further range, new PW306D engines with 5,852 pounds of thrust, increased full fuel payload, and new Garmin G5000 avionics. The cabin is 571 cubic feet, seating nine passengers and two crew members. As of 2019, 84 Sovereign+ jets have been built, and 7% of the fleet is currently for sale on the market.
