London Biggin Hill Airport

London Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB) sits 14 miles southeast of central London in the Bromley borough, and is the closest dedicated business-aviation airport to the City of London and Canary Wharf. There is no scheduled commercial service. The field has a long aviation history (Battle of Britain RAF station) and today is one of the principal London-area bizjet alternatives to Farnborough, particularly favored by City finance clients for whom east-side London ground access matters. The strict 24-hour curfew (2200–0700 local) and noise framework are taken seriously by the airport authority. EGKB benefits enormously from helicopter shuttle connections to central London — a 10-minute helicopter ride lands at the London Heliport (EGLW) in Battersea. Field elevation is 598 feet, no density-altitude concerns. Ground time to the City via the M25/A21 is 45–75 minutes; helicopter is 10–15 from ramp to ramp.
