Scottsdale Airport (KSDL) is the Phoenix-area bizjet field, located on the north side of Scottsdale just 12 miles northeast of downtown Phoenix and even closer to the Camelback corridor, Old Town Scottsdale, and the resort and golf belt that drives most of the inbound private traffic. There is no scheduled airline service — KSDL is purely business and general aviation, which is why brokers prefer it for Phoenix-area charter movements over the much busier KPHX commercial hub.
Runway 03/21 is 8,249 feet, supporting heavy and ultra-long-range jets including G650 and Global 7500 with normal payloads. Signature, Atlantic, and Jet Aviation are the three FBOs, all running substantial hangar and ramp operations.
