Oberpfaffenhofen Airport
EDMO is the ICAO code for Oberpfaffenhofen Airport (IATA OBF), located in Weßling, Germany.
Airport guide
Oberpfaffenhofen Airport (EDMO) sits 12 miles southwest of Munich. No scheduled commercial service. The single 7,569 ft runway handles every current business jet up through most ultra-long-range; ultra-long-range jets with maximum payloads occasionally plan around runway length. Multiple FBOs (Cirrus Aviation, RUAG) handle business movements with substantial hangar capacity. Field elevation 1,946 ft, no density-altitude concerns. EDMO is southern Germany's principal dedicated business-aviation airport — Munich corporate flight departments based here, plus the structural Oktoberfest and Bavarian Alps ski transit flow. The airport is owned by DLR (German Aerospace Center) and has historical aircraft-manufacturing roots. Ground time to BMW HQ is 35 minutes; central Munich is 30–45; the Alps ski transit (Garmisch-Partenkirchen) is 75.
