Airport guide
Kėdainiai Air Base (EYKD) is a medium airport in Kėdainiai, Lithuania. It sits in Europe.
Kėdainiai Air Base is a regional airport primarily serving general aviation, charter, and corporate flight departments.
Kėdainiai Air Base sits near sea level at 171 ft.
Local operations run on Europe/Vilnius. Without scheduled airline traffic, the field tends to be quieter and more flexible for charter and corporate operations — a useful characteristic for early morning, late night, or short-notice flights that would be impractical at a hub.
SkyAccess inventory for EYKD updates continuously as operators publish new empty legs and one-way repositioning trips. Pricing on each leg is available with a free account, and an inventory alert will email you the moment a leg appears on the route you care about.
Use this page to compare EYKD against nearby alternatives, browse live empty-leg pricing in both directions, and brief yourself on the runway and elevation profile before you book.
Background from Wikipedia
Kedainiai is an airport in Lithuania located 45 km north of Kaunas in Daukšiai. It has 28 large pads. Aeronautical sources list it as "civilian", its military use has been long retired. There is a large hangar as well, that houses a variety of privately owned light aircraft. The civilian aircraft usually operate from the taxiways, as they are more than adequate for light aircraft. It also often hosts auto racing on the main runways, both drag racing and drift courses.
