Mara Serena Lodge Airstrip (HKMS/MRE)

Mara Serena Lodge Airstrip (MRE) is a medium airport in Masai Mara, Kenya. It carries the IATA code MRE. It sits in Africa.

Mara Serena Lodge Airstrip has scheduled airline service, so private and charter flights share the field with airline traffic.

The longest runway measures 3,450 ft (1,052 m), short for most business jets. Aircraft typically matched to a runway of this length include the King Air, PC-12, and other short-field turboprops. Actual runway requirements vary with aircraft weight, air temperature, field elevation, and runway condition.

Mara Serena Lodge Airstrip sits at 5,200 ft above sea level. Hot-and-high conditions can meaningfully reduce takeoff performance in summer, so planners should factor density altitude into payload and fuel decisions.

Local operations run on Africa/Nairobi.

SkyAccess inventory for MRE updates continuously as operators publish new empty legs and one-way repositioning trips. Pricing on each leg is available with a free account, and an inventory alert will email you the moment a leg appears on the route you care about.
