Airport guide
Magadan-13 Airport (UHMT) is a medium airport in Magadan, Russia. It sits in Asia.
Magadan-13 Airport is a regional airport primarily serving general aviation, charter, and corporate flight departments.
Magadan-13 Airport sits near sea level at 164 ft.
Local operations run on Asia/Magadan. Without scheduled airline traffic, the field tends to be quieter and more flexible for charter and corporate operations — a useful characteristic for early morning, late night, or short-notice flights that would be impractical at a hub.
SkyAccess inventory for UHMT updates continuously as operators publish new empty legs and one-way repositioning trips. Pricing on each leg is available with a free account, and an inventory alert will email you the moment a leg appears on the route you care about.
Use this page to compare UHMT against nearby alternatives, browse live empty-leg pricing in both directions, and brief yourself on the runway and elevation profile before you book.
Background from Wikipedia
Magadan-13 Airport is a small airport in Russia located 10 km northeast of Magadan. It handles most propeller-driven transports. Regular passenger Ilyushin Il-14 aircraft were flying here in the 1950s and early 1960s. In the 1970s and 1980s it was a busy airport for charter operations which served geological expeditions, firefighters, and local transport routes. This is probably a former PVO-Strany fighter field, based on the length of the now-unusable runway between the current active runway and the ramp area.
