The November 2026 Europe Empty Leg Index counted 88,667 unique listed empty legs touching at least one airport in its continental Europe scope. The snapshot covers 12 months of departures through 30 October 2026, plus future departures already listed by the snapshot time. These are marketplace listings, not flights confirmed as operated.

Method and window: The snapshot anchor is 30 October 2026 at 23:42 UTC. Departures from the prior 12 months and future departures created by the anchor time are included. Each unique origin airport, destination airport, departure time, aircraft registration and aircraft model combination is counted once. Deleted, cancelled and internal only listings are excluded.

Unique empty legs by country

Counts include each unique listing that touches an airport in that country. A listing between two countries appears in both country rows, so country counts do not add up to the Europe total.

Methodology and scope

Continental Europe is defined by airport country codes FR, IT, ES, DE, NL, BE, AT, PT, GR, MC, LU, IE, DK, SE, NO, FI, PL, CZ, HR, MT and CY. The United Kingdom and Switzerland are excluded because they have separate regional editions. The total counts each distinct listed leg once when either endpoint is in scope. The country and airport rows overlap when a listed leg touches more than one country or airport. Corridors group city pairs and combine both directions. Counts describe listed inventory, not flights confirmed as operated.
