Bombardier Aerospace unveiled Learjet 75 at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva in May 2012. It received FAA type certification on November 14, 2013.
The Learjet 75 is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-40BR turbine engines with 3,850 pounds of thrust. It was designed with a larger cabin volume and faster speeds than its competitors, the Embraer Phenom 300 and Citation CJ4. The interior seats up to eight passengers and two crew members. This jet also features dual-wheel main landing gear, thrust reversers, a Honeywell RE-100 auxiliary power unit, and the Garmin G5000-based Vision avionics suite.
The Learjet 75 is still in production today, with the 100th aircraft being delivered in June 2017. Its unit price, as of 2023 is $13,800,000
