The Dassault Falcon 900 is a tri-jet corporate jet aircraft made by Dassault Aviation in France. It is a development of the Falcon 50, itself a development of the earlier Falcon 20. On September 21, 1984, the F900 took its first flight, and production began in 1987. Variants to the Falcon 900 include the Falcon 900EX, 900MSA, and 900C. The Falcon 900B is a revised production version of the Model 900, introduced in 1991. It is powered by three Honeywell TFE 731-5BR-1C engines with 4,750 pounds of thrust, providing an extended range of 3,450 nm and increase rate of climb. The cockpit is equipped with Honeywell SPZ 8000 flight director, dual Honeywell FMZ flight management system, AZ 810 air data computers, and Collins Pro Line ARINC 429-series communication and navigation receivers. The cabin was designed to provide maximum comfort during intercontinental flights; it can seat 8-12 passengers in an executive configuration. It can be configured with a divan or full-size sleep compartment and also includes a full-size private lavatory and galley. Production of the Falcon 900B ended in 1999. More modern models usually sell for $9 million, and older models sell for less--some as little as $5.75 million.
