The Bombardier Global 7500 is a premier long-range, large-cabin business jet from Bombardier Aerospace, part of the Global series including the Global 6000 and Global 8000. Known as the world’s largest purpose-built business jet, it first flew on November 4, 2016. After completing over 2,400 hours of flight testing with five prototypes, it received Transport Canada certification in September 2018 and FAA certification in November 2018. The Bombardier Global 7500 is unique for its four living spaces, supporting journeys up to 7,770 nautical miles, allowing nonstop flights such as New York to Hong Kong. It recently flew 8,152 nautical miles from Singapore to Tucson, Arizona, landing with fuel reserves for nearly 1.5 hours. The takeoff distance is 5,800 feet at full fuel, and the landing distance is 2,850 feet, comparable to light jets. Powered by two GE Passport engines, each providing 18,920 pounds of thrust, it offers exceptional performance. The luxurious cabin includes four Nuage seats with deployable tables, a conference suite for six with a dining table, an entertainment suite, and an aft suite with a bed, work area, en-suite lavatory, wardrobe, and baggage compartment access. It can accommodate up to 19 passengers, featuring a fully-equipped galley, private lavatory, and various seating options. Advanced in-flight entertainment and connectivity technology, including high-speed internet and live television, are also available. The aircraft's advanced avionics suite includes a Global Vision flight deck and Rockwell Collins avionics system, with features such as a synthetic vision system and fully-integrated autothrottle. Safety features include real-time weather and traffic information and a runway awareness system. The advanced wing design enhances aerodynamics and reduces drag. Passengers can enjoy a state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system with 4K resolution displays, high-speed internet, and multiple streaming options. Cabin environment, lighting, and temperature can be controlled from personal devices. As of February 2024, all Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft have been sold new, with 2.7% currently on the market, most under exclusive broker agreements. The average sale time is 170 days. There are 186 Global 7500 business jets in operation today, predominantly wholly owned, with nine (5.49%) in fractional ownership and none leased. North America has the highest number of wholly owned Global 7500 aircraft (76), followed by Western Europe (50) and Asia (12). VistaJet owns the largest fleet with 18 Global 7500 jets.
