The thrusters are powered by twin Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306A engines, each providing 6,040 pounds of thrust, the Gulfstream G200 delivers excellent fuel economy for its class. The aircraft's electrical system includes three Lucas Aerospace 28 V 400 Ah starter/generators, two 24 V 43 Ah Ni/Cd batteries, and a Honeywell GTCP36-150 APU. Additionally, a third battery ensures backup power for essential flight instruments and emergency systems. In 2004, auto-throttles became an optional feature, further enhancing the Gulfstream G200's appeal.
