Google Calendar connects by sharing your aircraft calendar with SkyAccess and pasting its embed URL. Use a desktop browser — the sharing controls aren't available on mobile.
Once shared and connected, SkyAccess reads your calendar and refreshes availability and empty legs every 15 minutes.
How to connect Google Calendar
Connection method: Google embed URL — share your calendar with SkyAccess, then paste the embed link.
What you'll need
- A Google Calendar embed URL for each aircraft.
- The calendar must be shared with operators@skyaccess.com before SkyAccess can read it.
Step 1 — Share your Google Calendar with SkyAccess
- 1Open Google Calendar in your browser.
- 2Find the calendar you want to connect and open its settings (the three-dot menu → Settings and sharing).
- 3Under Share with specific people, add operators@skyaccess.com.
- 4Set the permission to See all event details, then save.
These steps must be completed in a desktop web browser. The Google Calendar mobile app doesn't support calendar sharing or the Integrate calendar settings.
Step 2 — Get the embed URL
- 1In the same calendar settings, scroll to Integrate calendar.
- 2Copy the Embed code or the Public URL — the URL contains calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?...
Step 3 — Connect in SkyAccess
- 1During registration: open Sync your schedule, select Google Calendar, paste the embed URL and continue.
- 2Per aircraft: open Fleet → the aircraft → Calendar tab, paste the embed URL into Availability Feed URL, click Preview, turn on Enable Calendar Sync, and save.
Event naming tips
For SkyAccess to recognise events as available empty legs, each calendar event should include:
- A route in the title — for example KTEB - KOPF or BOS → HPN.
- A marker indicating a positioning or empty-leg flight — for example Empty Leg, Positioning, Reposition, or 0 pax.
Google Calendar syncs automatically every 15 minutes. Keep the calendar shared with operators@skyaccess.com or syncing will stop.

- Why do I need to share my calendar with operators@skyaccess.com?
- Sharing with operators@skyaccess.com (with "See all event details" permission) lets SkyAccess read the full flight details from your calendar so availability imports correctly. If you remove the share, syncing stops.
- Can I set this up on my phone?
- No — Google Calendar's sharing and Integrate calendar settings are only available in a desktop browser, so complete the setup on a computer.
